The Outreach & Education committee performs outreach to young women to promote engineering as a career path. The committee has previously exemplified this through the annual High School Mentorship Program, which pairs up women at UBC Engineering with 2-3 high school students. In the 2024-25 academic year, the program reached a record high of approximately 116 mentees, and 54 mentors. During the 2025-26 academic year, the program surpassed its previous record and reached 154 mentees and 57 mentors. The committee also conducts an online workshop series alongside the Mentorship Program, which includes events such as a coding workshop, university application workshop and a guide to first year at UBC.
